Write about your vision for this game. What excites you about it?
I'm most excited to see how my game turns out at the end. I can see my game being how I want it to be if I really try. So I'll try my best to make it that way.

Choose Learning Topic
I think recycling is a good topic for my side-scrolling game because it'll be a situation that most will be able to understand. This happens everywhere, so I just want people to have a better perspective to learn about it and have fun at the same time. I believe this will be good for a 2 level game, which makes it easier for players to see the consequences of littering on level 1. And preventing it from happening on level 2.

Learn To Design For Mobile
How did this topic influence your ideas for your own Side Scrolling Action game? Name one thing you will or will not do.
This topic influenced me by explaining how game developers can make the mistake of designing the controls to their games a way that makes it hard for the user to actually play the game. Which obviously tells not make a game that way, so side scrolling game is best to keep the platform moving having a single control button just to pass the game. One thing I won't do is make the game too long because I don't I'll have much time to work before we get to our next topic. What I will do is make the game as plain and simple to get it up and running.

Course Overview
I'm most excited to work on a platform game that might have something to do with parkour or something like that. I'm not sure yet but whatever our main topic has to do with, I'll make a game that's related in a way that performs in the fashion I want it to. Above all, I think it will a good game.

How did the two games handle the issue of homelessness?
As you work through the game, you realize that there is no way to learn the answers to these questions, it is based on what you know already. There's no way to know that these are actual facts and not just assumptions.
Do you think one was better than the other?
In my opinion, the first game would be better because it basically just explains facts right then and there.
What would you do to improve either game?
I think both are good, they just need a bit of tuning to the art work.
What kind of a game would you make about this issue?
If anything I'd make something somewhat familiar to the first game but just enhance it more.

Hello World Blog Post
What's up my name is Josue Martinez. I'm an 11th grade student at EACP at MLK. As I blog, I'll be able to show others my work ethic on each assignment that i'm assigned to do. That way they get a better understand of what it is that I do everyday in class.
